Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students,

The month of May celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week. In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week, I would like to extend an enormous “Thank You” to our teaching staff. The Gilbert teachers work extremely hard throughout the school year to make a positive impact on your children’s lives. The daily lessons that they teach travel way beyond the classroom. I am extremely proud of my staff and look forward to working with them to move our school forward every single day.

It is unbelievable that we are in the month of May and that the end of the year is already upon us. We have many exciting events that will take place over the last seven weeks that include: class field trips, class parties, field day, kindergarten orientation, kindergarten program, academic awards assembly, and the fifth grade awards assembly. Our teachers do a wonderful job of making sure that these activities are well-organized, educational, safe, and fun!
